Important Handling Instructions

Due to its cytotoxic nature, Docetaxel should be handled while wearing gloves to minimize dermal absorption risk.

Needles or intravenous sets made of aluminum should not be used as they precipitate docetaxel and cause a loss of potency.

Storage

It should be stored at 2-8 degrees Celsius, protected from light.

Administration Instructions

  • • To be administered Intravenously, IM, subcutaneously, or Intrathecal.
  • • It is vesicant, can cause tissue or muscle damage.
