Oncologist first diagnose a cancer with several tools like Biopsy, Endoscopy, X-ray, CT Scan, MRI, Pet Scan, Ultrasound or other radiological methods. Oncology is often linked to Haematology, which deals with blood related disorders.

Cancer survival has improved due to few main components: improved prevention, improved screening and improvements in treatment.
