Composition:
- • Paclitaxel IP 100 mg
- • Human Albumin IP (after reconstitution) – 900 mg

What is Nab Paclikast?
It is an anti cancer medicine, formed of two drugs, Paclitaxel and human albumin.
It is used against multiple cancers.
Uses of Nab Paclikast –
It is widely used for –
- • Advanced-stage breast cancer
- • Pancreatic cancers
- • Lung cancers (non-small)
How Nab Paclikast work?
- • Paclitaxel is the chemotherapeutic agent that stops cancer multiplication and growth.
- • Human Albumin is used to dissolve paclitaxel and facilitate its absorption into the cells.

- • Loss of appetite
- • Nausea, vomiting
- • Irregular heartbeat
- • Breathing issues
- • Blood pressure fluctuations
- • Mouth ulcers
- • Skin rashes, itchiness
- • Tiredness
- • Hair loss
- • Swelling of ankles
Serious Side Effects
- • Bleeding in gastrointestinal tract
- • Blood in urine and stool
- • Severe fall in blood count
- • Nerve Damage – loss of sensation
- • Chest pain
Precaution
To be cautiously used in patient with –
- • Irregular heartbeat
- • Liver disease
- • Low blood count
- • Breathing disorder
Contraindications
Not to be used on people –
- • Allergic to Paclitaxel
- • Breastfeeding women
- • Pregnant women
Warning
To be used under medical supervision, administered as a slow IV infusion over 30 minutes.
Important safety information
It should be regularly monitored for –
- • Liver functions – elevated liver enzymes
- • Blood count
- • Renal functions
- • Cardiac function monitoring
Storage:
Store at 2-8 degrees Celsius (refrigerator), protected from light.
Reconstituted solution to be used immediately.
